Campus Hills Waterworks
~ Serving the Campus Hills Community ~
Water Source and Distribution:
Campus Hills Waterworks water is pumped from four wells that are located in the vicinity of the water tower and the Campus Lakes Subdivision. Water is drawn from underground aquifers located 50 to 300 feet below ground level.
Water Quality:
Our mission is to provide you with a safe and reliable water supply. To that end we regularly perform an extensive battery of water quality tests. Routine testing includes daily chlorine and pH levels, monthly bacteria culture, semiannual lead and copper levels, annual nitrate and volatile organic compounds levels and additional evaluations as periodically requested by governmental authorities. The company provides a summary of test results to all customers annually.
Operations:
The Campus Hills Waterworks facility is operated by the Maryland Environmental Service (MES). MES is a State of Maryland owned corporation, which has been established to manage water and sewage systems in the State of Maryland.
